ShapeForge Terms of Use
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us about the ShapeForge app. The short version: ShapeForge is a free game. There is nothing to buy, no ads and no account. We provide it as it is, and we ask that you use it fairly.
1. Who you are agreeing with
ShapeForge is published by Ariel Conde, an individual developer (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using ShapeForge you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, delete the app — that is the whole of the remedy, and it costs you nothing.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use ShapeForge on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. Your use is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies alongside these terms; where the two conflict on a point Apple requires, Apple's terms win.
You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence, reverse-engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where the law says you may despite an agreement saying otherwise.
3. It's free
ShapeForge is free to download and free to play, all of it. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads.
Coins are in-game only. You earn them by playing and spend them in the in-game Shop on power-ups and themes. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold or exchanged for money, and aren't your property. They can be lost if you delete the app or reset your progress.
4. Your progress
Your progress, coins and settings are stored only on your device. In version 1.0 they are not synced between devices and are not backed up by us — we hold no copy. Deleting the app, or using Reset progress in Settings, erases them. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Using it fairly
Use ShapeForge only for lawful purposes. Do not tamper with the app, try to get around how it works, or redistribute it or its content.
6. Availability and changes to the app
We may change, add or remove features, levels and events, and we may stop publishing ShapeForge. If we withdraw the app, you keep the copy on your device for as long as it runs. Seasonal events run on dates the app works out on your device, and their content can change from year to year. ShapeForge requires the iOS or iPadOS version stated on the App Store listing.
7. No warranty
ShapeForge is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost progress, coins or other in-game data. Because the app is free, where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid us for ShapeForge, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for ShapeForge. Maintenance and support are ours, not Apple's; Apple has no obligation to provide either. If ShapeForge fails to conform to any warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Any claim about the app, including product liability, a failure to meet a legal requirement, or a claim under consumer protection or privacy law, is ours to address, not Apple's. If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property, the defence of that claim is ours. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government restricted-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address with the date it took effect. If a change matters to your rights, we will say so in the app's release notes. Continuing to use ShapeForge after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of the Philippines have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
